Geothermal Regulatory Roadmap Project

In this effort, Enegis assisted the U.S. DOE in streamlining geothermal project development.  The services performed comprised consulting and analytical assessments, stakeholder interactions, eight workshops, and liaison.  The Geothermal Regulatory Roadmap team worked with federal, state and local agencies to develop a geothermal regulatory guide for use by agencies, industry and policymakers.   The Roadmap was developed to help them understand the permit process and timelines, as well as to identify areas of regulatory overlap and potential delay.  The effort covered eight western states with geothermal resources.
